- I've had trouble finding a job. I quit work 20 years ago to raise my children then got divorced a couple years ago. Every job is filled by another employee's friend. I don't have a resume not because I'm lazy but because I chose to raise my kids myself. And there are very few jobs out there period.

- We simply can't afford it. And there are at least a half dozen other countries where citizens protesting the govt are being killed.

- The hard work only pays off if there's a happy place to go back to. I think a lot of people really do work hard at it but one person can't do it alone. And, sometimes, no matter how hard you try its not enough.

- I agree with Teach Me Tonight... If your spouse is abusive or even just doesn't care anymore, no amount of "work" can change that. So many people waste years in dead marriages because of pressure to "make it work".
